ABOUT
My work explores the sacred rituals of everyday consumer culture through the items we choose to bring into our homes, cherish, and turn to in moments of need.
These objects feel like home. They become part of our daily lives—familiar, comforting, and full of memories. In a way, they’re like modern-day religious items, holding quiet meaning for us.
With so much hate right now toward Jews and Israelis, it gives me comfort to focus my art practice on these objects. It feels like a small way to hold on to something safe, something that matters.
My practice focuses on drawings that begin with a loose, initial foundation—one that doesn’t get corrected, but rather, built upon. I commit to the human mistakes along the way, embracing them and their aesthetics, and allowing them to shape the final piece.
